    Default tomatos problems

i am growing 3 Celebrity tomato plants (VFFNTA) IN pots. some of the tomatoes upon reaching about an 1 inch in diameter are developing black indented eras that are growing faster than the tomatoes.

    i have two questions:
    1. does anybody know what it is.
    2. what could be done about it?

I believe that this condition is called blossom rot which is a deficiency of calcium, as I recall. There may also be topical sprays available.
I suffer from CDO ... Its like OCD, but in alphabetical order, LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!

its called blossom END rot. uneven watering is the usual cause. you got to be religious about keeping tomatoes evenly moist in pots. http://advice.thisoldhouse.com/showt...hlight=blossom you can rig up a watering system to keep them moist.
