    Exclamation Ground Outlets

I live in a 129 year old home, it has been in the family since 1962 My problem is how to go about grounding several electrical outlets in a room where I run several high dollar computers that need to run on grounded outlets. How do I go about this.

New ground wires, bonded in the main panel can be run to the outlets or new cables with ground can be installed. You should also make sure the panel is connected to a ground electrode.

Rewire the outlets with new conduit or wire that contains a ground. If your going through the trouble of running a wire might as well replace the old stuff. Also, you'll want to make sure you have a proper grounding system in your house to ground to.

Would you give the same advice for a light fixture in the ceiling?
