    Question Losing Our Tiles

The tile in our downstairs guest bathroom is falling off the walls around the window in the shower. It was installed spring of 06, so it's fairly new. We would like to rip out all the tile and put in drywall. As well as take out the regular window and put in glass window tiles in its place. We are just not sure where or how to start. Any suggestions or advise?

    Default Re: Losing Our Tiles

since you are going to hang all new drywall I would use a roto zip or dremel tool with a tile bit and cut out the grout at the edges of where you are going to do demo and go at it. DEMO IS THE FUN PART. I would lay cardboard down to protect the tile on the floor and remove all cover plates on electrical boxes and just start ripping. save taking out the window till the last right before you are ready to install your new glass block.
