    Default Garage wall cracks

My old garage block walls have several cracks on the exterior. I'd like to fill these in so as not to invite critters into my humble workspace. Will anything other than some mortar work okay to patch these up?

My experience with mortar is that it, too, will crack on each side as it dries, not helping the problem. Menards has a great product, especially for filling cracks in concrete. It is a concrete caulk, that says "Concrete" right on the outside of the green tube. I used some last fall, with great success. It is a very durable product, that still is flexible, adjusting to the weather. It is not very expensive, either. You might give this a try, to keep out the weather, and tiny critters. It is capable of filling some pretty large cracks.

Good luck, and have a terrific day.
