A local model railroad enthusiast was setting up up a train layout in his basement. He didn't like how there were two lally columns in the middle of his layout... so he decided to remove them....

It didn't take long for cracks to start appearing and doors to start sticking upstairs in the house. That's when he realized the lally columns were more important than the unobstructed view across his train layout.

The columns were replace with adjustable ones to fix the sagging...
