    Talking framing

Hi, am buying older home, owner accepting sweat equity for quite a bit of the cost, almost 1000 hours in already. Have mud room and wish to build closet for coats and shoes/boots. Floors are ceramic tile. What is best way to attach framing to ceramic tile without damage to tiles?

    Yep .... ditto jkirk's post.

You might even try construction adhesive for securing the bottom plate.

Thanx a lot, had basic construction in high school but that was 35 years ago and really never ran into this before....many other issues but guess I'll tackle one at a time....thank you both again
