Looking for a solution to capture downspout rain water into one large (200-300 gallon) or multiple smaller underground plastic tanks during rain events. Access to the water needs to be obtained using a pump and hose system to water 150+ shrubs, located around the exterior of the house. The underground plastic storage tanks need to be drained in the winter months (November thru March) due to freezing temperatures. There also needs to be some type of diverter to route water away from the tanks when full or during the winter months if there is an unexpected winter rain, instead of snow. The terrain around the home has grade elevation changes of between 4 to 6 feet to assist in draining and "moving" the water with gravity flow.
