    Default Water Pressure

I had a leaky utility sink the other day and when the plumber was out he also said my water pressue in the house was 100psi. He changed it to 65pis. Now, the pressure at my faucets is a lot lower. Is what the plumber said and did correct?

A 100 psi will over time will start to wear out the seat gaskets in your faucets. This will then create the slow dripping of water from each of the faucets. The pressure to your house should be somewhere from 35-65 psi. Process of elimination. Good luck.

Yes it is. 100 psi is too high. I usually set it to 60, so 65 psi is fine.
