Question Required gauge wire for a nite light (?)

    I'm curious...I believe normal 'lamp cord' wire is 16 to 18 gauge...if I'm supplying current to a 7 watt night light, can I use a lighter gauge (i.e. - 20 to 24 gauge)? Any info will help...lemme know...thanx, Mark
