Thread: Gunite Walls

    Default Gunite Walls

I have a nice little home but the problem is that the walls which I thought were lath and plaster are lath board and gunite. Yes the same stuff they make swimming pools out of. Any suggestions on the best way to patch small holes.

Yikes. You might want to consider putting up wallboard over the gunite for a longterm solution, but for small patches, I would think a normal concrete patch should work for you. For really small holes, I would think that lightweight patch compound might also work (the featherweight stuff that seems to be half air - I use that all over my house, it seem to stick to just about anything, is easy to apply and easy to sand).
