    Default bathtub/shower control problem

My girlfriends ex-husband had a diy-plumber remodel the bathroom. He changed the two handle hot/cold controls to a single arm controller. The hot water in this shower at best is warm, but the sink, is piping hot, and the rest of the facuets, and additional shower are hot as well. How can i get hot water at this location?

Google your make and model of shower valve to find the owners manual ******. Generally, it's simply a matter of removing the handle from the fixture and adjusting a restrictor plate. The adjustment is easy and can be done in a matter of minutes.
