    Default u shaped galley kitchen

Wejust purchased a home built in the 40's. It has a u shaped kitchen with a small eating area at the open end. What's the best configuration for appliances and sink? The basement stairwell is on the inside wall, so it would be hard to expand in.Also we don't want to invest too much in it because we don't think we'd get it back.

most of your cabinet companies including home depot and lowes have computer programs that you can put in the dimensions and play with different layouts till you find one that works for you.
