    Default Installing a new sink

    Hello,

This is my first post. I've been redoing my bathroom. I'm now putting in the new sink. When I put in the new vanity I made sure it was level before anchoring it to the wall.

Now that I'm putting the sink on (did a dry fit), I noticed that it's not exactly level. Just off by a hair. I think that's okay.

But I'm really wondering what to do about the walls not being square so the sink does not sit flush with the left wall or the back. Its either flush with one wall or the other.

Should I leave the gap (maybe a 1/4" or more) along the back of the sink or the left side? I was thinking the back since I plan to put a chair rail right above the sink.

    Any thoughts?

    Patty

Thanks yes, it does help and thanks for a fast reply. I have a picture (hope it works). I'm only worried about scribbing the side since the sink has a slight lip/rim on the edge. Do you think it'll be okay?

Oh, the vanity top is a one piece cultured marble.
