    Default Worn Flange

Our house was built in 1929, and the plumbing dates from then. About 10 years ago we had a new toilet installed in our upstairs bathroom, and the plumber warned us that the flange on the cast iron sewer pipe was so worn that any more damage might make it impossible to attach the toilet again. So far we have avoided catastrophe, but how big a job would it be to fix this?
