    Lightbulb Formica walls in kitchen

I have formica covered walls above my countertops and stove. Can I paint them? tile them? add a wallpaper border on them? attach decorative hooks on them? The formica is solid white and about 15 years old and in very good condition... but very boring. I need a change.
    Thanks
    Patricia

Hello, Yes you can do any of the above but there is no guarantee it will look right or even hold up. Formicas purpose it that nothing is suppose to adhere or stick to it. You are supposed to be able to wash it and keep it clean. So trying to make something stick or adhere to it may be almost in possible. How about removing it, refinishing the area then doing what you like?
I think with my past experience you will not get anything to paint, stick or adhere to it properly. Hope this helps. GregC,

We spray our stone look right over old formica. It resembles granite but is thousands less. Check out our pics section of our web site. www.resurfacespe******t.com
