    Default icicles

We are in Ohio. The temp. is 21 degrees. We have had some snow every day for 15 days. We have many icicles hanging down all around the house. Our roof is snow covered so it does not appear that roof is bad. Another puzzling thing - the icicles are dripping. Where is the heat coming from? What should we do about it?

You have ice dams. This is a classic winter roof problem caused by poor ventilation and insulation in your attic and roof. The heat causes the snow on the roof to melt and then freeze when draining off. You need to add insulation into your attic and determine if you more roof-attic vents.
Find local, licensed roofers in your area.
