Default tile without moving water heater

Hello, I am about to tile our laundry room and was wondering if anyone had any tricks to tile a room without moving the water heater?

Hello, Actually I have done this a few times. No need to remove the water heater, just raise it off the floor an inch if you can and tile under. Turn off the water to the heater drain it if you can, that would make it easier to lift, if not no big deal.Lift the water heater enough to slide a few bricks or blocks under it to hold it up. Then you can tile under moving the bricks or blocks as you do so. It takes a bit of time and some patients but it does work! Hope this helps.GregC
