    Default Leveling Concrete

Could someone please help. Is there any way to level a concrete floor about 1/2 to 2 inches. The space is about 5x15 feet. This space was used as a porch but now is closed in and I would like to cover it with floating hardwood flooring.

What is this space, why is it so out of whack, and what is the proposed use/traffic pattern?

Go to one of your local concrete/brick/block supply houses. Some of the larger ready-mix outfits have a showroom with clerks at the counter that are very knowledgeable. There are several different concrete levelers. The most expensive but easiest to use is a self leveling concrete. You mix up the concrete in a barrel or large trash can to the exact portions on the instructions and then pour it on the floor. The concrete self levels. Don't touch it or try to improve on it after you pour it. Mix up more then you think you need and only pour the concrete until the area is leveled. Toxx the rest out or use it somwhere else.
