    Default clogged drain

Recently I put a bathroom in my basement. The drains have plugged twice since. The plummer says I cant use my garbage disposal cause it is clogging the y connection where the basement connects to the kitchen drain before they go to the main. I had the plummer snake them both times. It seems that there has to be something that can be done so im not paying or even having to snake them myself? Any ideas

Call a new plumber. Sounds as though there may be inadequate slope somewhere the new work was installed. Have an impartial plumber run a camera down the drain and look for standing water.

I agree with hippified---- something doesn't sound right.

Is it only the kitchen drain that's having issues?
