    Smile steam heat

    hi i would like to know how to size radiator for bedroom my heating is steam.

    You would have to first get the heat loss calculation of the room (how many btu's/hour are oozing out of it on a cold day) by doing one of the free heat loss calculations below.

    You would then obtain a radiator that has a similar heat loss.
    Usually the EDR (equivalent direct radiation) of the radiator is obtained (see sites below), then the HLC is obtained from that.

    If you have to buy a radiator, try the Yellow Pages for a used plumbing supply house, demolition co. or Salvage Yard.
