    Cool How do I heat my water coming into my house?

    My water come's from my well to the outside of my house,
    and then threw the wall into my house. How do i heat the
    incloseer where it come's up out of the ground and into the house?

    The most common way around here is with a light bulb but I prefer heat tape. It has a thermostat so it only comes on when needed.

    Mine is in a separate enclosure away from the house and the line goes underground from there to the crawl space. If you have an enclosure next to the house and the house wall is shared with a heated space, then a good foam insulation on the rest of the enclosure might keep it from going below freezing and supplemental heat may not be needed.
