We recently found out we have no venting in our attic. We bought our house with a room built in the attic. We had to gut the room because of moisture buildup. We have put in a ridge vent and have gotten many opinions on how to improve the venting from there. We were told to put four square roof vents in and a vent on each end of the room. Will this be enough to keep the moisture buildup from becoming a problem again?
Re: attic ventilation
Howdy, if you have soffits, eves then you need to install vents there to to allow cooler air to enter the attic from the soffit and hot air out the ridge vents.
