    Default Repairing Wallboard Before Painting

I have 2 sections of wallboard that the outer paper has been torn away. Is there a product that I can use to cover or repair the wall so I will be able to paint the walls?

I have a similar situation, I plan on just using some drywall compound to "seal" up the area. Prime and paint. Oh boy. I only have a few more weeks until I get started!!!

You'll need to put paper tape over the spot and trim to the patch area. Do 3 coats making each one wider to feather it out sand prime paint done.

The wallboard itself in fine its the paper covering the wallboard that was torn away in 1 to 2 foot sections
