    Default gpf for older toilet

I have a toilet that was probably installed in 1987. It is an American Standard and I belive the number stamped on the inside of the tank is 4003 or 4033 or maybe 4063. Anyway I need to know what the gallons per flush (gpf) of the toilet is for a rebate. The toilet has already been taken out. Where can I get this info or what is a good guess as to the gpf?
    Thanks for any help.
