    Default Restoring Tin Cielings

I'm contemplating renting a beautiful space that is in a landmarked building . . . the proposed purpose is a bar, one of the stipulation is that I would soundproof the ceiling (currently covered by tin ceiling tiles). This would require me to remove the tin, put a floating ceiling in, and place the tin back. Has anyone had experience removing an replacing a tin ceiling? It seems like it will be very difficult to o without damaging the tin, perhaps the best way would be to drill out the nails, so that the prying doesent damage the tin . . . . any thoughts would be great.

    Thanks

my best guess is that any prying wouldn't cause all that much trouble. If you want to hold a drill over your head all that time, more power to you.
