Default Need advice about wall trim installed with bead board

Need advice. What is the best way to install wall base with a beadboard installation. Should the beadboard have the wall base installed on top of it or should the beadboard be cut shorter and the wall base installed touching it and not overlapping it???

Typical installation is to install the beadboard on the wall, then apply base and trim mouldings over the top. If your baseboard is wide enough, you can set the beadboard on top of it and then either caulk the joint or add another small moulding to cover the joint between the two. Something to take into account is the beadboard will be butting against the door trim, so that applying base over the top of it may not work. It's easy enough to take a scrap of beadboard and base and hold them against the edge of the door trim to see which style of installation is better suited to your application.
