    what type of blade to use? first the composition of most cultured marble tops is simply marble dust (so they can call it cultured marble) and fiberglass resin. if you break one you will see the fibers sticking out just the same if you break a sheet of drywall. carbide blades as well as masonry blades will cut the top, I prefer to use the masonry blade keeping it wet so to produce less dust. the masonry blade will not clog.
