    Default Brass Bed

    I would like to paint an old brass bed that I am tired of cleaning. Do you have advise?

    I'd hate to see you paint that bed. If it's just a matter that you're getting tired of cleaning off the oxidation/tarnish from time to time..........

    Clean/polish it up one more time and then immediately give it two coats of this. (Three won't hurt, either)

    I agree with ****hiller, Don't.

    What ever you do, other than using the product GH suggested, the brass is still going to tarnish and eat through primer and paint.

    Or you can sell the brass bed and get enough money to buy a new bed.
