    Default Help! Privacy needed

We live in the country and have neighbors and their teenage sons that camp by their pond that abutts our property. They must have 30+ acres but choose to camp right were we can see and hear them and they us. There are woods with a stone wall (2 ft tall) that separate us from them but you can see through the woods so we need some trees or plants that grow 15 feet in damp, shaded area. It is so annoying all this land and we still can't have privacy to enjoy our hot tub and back yard in peace. My husband is threatening to plant bamboo but it is so evasive and it is not native to northeast Pennsylvania and I'm worried about it spreading and killing the hard wood trees. So any help or advice is needed (the neighbors like to camp ALL year round so we don't have peace even in the dead of winter. Thanks so much Normwantabe

did you mean enjoy your hottub in peace or to get a piece!! lol
    just kidding...

put up a lattice screen with some vines growing in and out of it. use the lattice that has small openings.

or get some cypress and plant them in a row. they made great hedges..

or move the hot tub to a different location.

Thuja "Green Giants" always make great screens. They are fast growing and tolerate nearly every soil and climate. The moisture shouldn't even be a problem unless there is standing water.

See the US National Arboretum description here:
