    Default Radiators - Painted

There are several very attractive radiators in my 100-yr old house - each with several layers of paint on them. Is there an easy way to strip the paint? What is the correct way to paint them?

The best way to paint them is to remove them and have them sandblasted - local sandblasting companies should be able to handle this. It is best to have a company handle it in case any of the layers of paint have lead content. Once they are sandblasted and washed, you should be able to use any decent metal primer/paint to spray them, but the thinner the paint layer the better.
