    Default Wet Bed in shower

Does anyone know who is responsible for building the wet bed in a shower, a plumber or a tile person or either one/both? Who more commonly does this job? Thanks in advance for your advice,

It can go either way.In many cases the Tile contractor will do the slope with Mortar ,then Plumber does pan ,before tile guy comes back and does the dry pack and tile. This is not always the case however. Many tile contractors will do it all, and with newer products on the market (like PRO-SLOPE from Noble Co)The plumber can do the slope with out the use of mortar under the liner. The Tile Contractor typicaly will still do the dry pack and tile.
