    Default Bowing basement wall

I am considering buying a fixer-upper. How concerned should I be about a basement wall that is bowing a little bit? I don't believe the house will be falling down.

    Thank you.

Thank you so much. What types of things can be done to keep the wall from getting worse???

You first need to determine whether the wall was installed bowed, or if it's a result of movement. And if it's from movement, if it is still moving (there are testing companies that specialize in this kind of work).
