Default Help! Non-standard cellar access door

Hi...I own an old house built in the late 1800s. The cellar access door is rotted and needs replacing. I would like to replace it with a good looking but plain (no windows), fiberglass door. The problem is that this door is about 48" x 48" square. I have called many lumber yards and door manufacturers and no one seems to make a fiberglass door this wide (the largest I found was 42" wide.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have considered a split-double door but it is not high in my desires.

How about just framing it so a standard size will fit?
