    Default Covering soffits

I am insulating and putting up OSB on the exterior walls of a metal pole garage we had built. To keep the winter winds from blowing in, can I cover the soffits with insulation and OSB or will this create moisture/humidity problems? The garage has an insulated roof and no ceiling.

You don't want to cover up the soffits with insulation. The roof needs to be ventilated. Without ventilation you can have moisture problems (mold, rot and such), as well as overheating the roof in the summer time.

Not sure what the exact layout is, but if you want to put more insulation in and are worried about blocking them, they make some cheap cardboard or plastic guards to prevent the soffits from being blocked when insulating.
