    Default Cracked support beam

I have a 31 year old house in Jacksonville, NC. It has a crawl space. There was a lot of moister under the house until we finally got it fixed. Now that it has dried up, I have a support beam that is cracked. Is there anyone that knows how I can go about fixing this? Thank you

coburndl ... it's impossible to tell over the internet what the situation is and what is involved.

When it comes to a structural support member it would be advisable to have a professorial engineer evaluate the situation first hand.

They would be able to properly suggest as to what can be done .... repairs or replacing and what materials to be used.

    Hope this helps.
