    Default 1950`s brick home

purchased 1950`s brick home in montgomery alabama, kitchen has been replumbed, (not a good job.)original plumbing is no longer functional, new plumbing comes out of the ceiling and behind the refrigerator through all cabinets, my problem is i want to put the plumbing back in the wall which is horsehair plaster 3/4 inch thick so i can replace cabinets and countertop, any suggestions short of doing total remodel and tearout of existing plaster? exterior is red brick and no insulation.
