    Default Window condensation

I replaced my windows with double pane aluminum units last year & every time we have a cold spell the entire window on the inside of the room will collect with droplets of water. The water gets so bad & runs unto the carpet. Then mildew & mold
starts groing on the wall & window frames. Do I have an air leak
causing my problem? Any help would be great.

It's more likely that the humidity level inside the home is too high.... probably in the 50-60% range ... where a 40-42% range would be better.

The average family can generate up to 70 pints of moisture a day from kitchens, baths, showers, laundry and other appliances.

It's important to run kitchen and bathroom fans to help reduce the humidity levels to a comfortable and safe level during the colder seasons.

    Hope this helps.
