    Default Starter step repair

Does anyone have any suggestions for repairing a starter step? As you can see from the pictures, the wood that was molded around its shape gave way and cracked. The step is still sound, but the covering wood and molding need to be replaced. Any suggestions would be appreciated.12

You can fix this by getting yourself a piece of oak veneer plywood and steaming it around a jig be sure to keep the same radius once you get the piece formed take out the old and put in the new one then stain to match
