    Default Thread gone!

Does this site regularly drop threads that are started by unregistered guests? I was replying to one ,then the guest registered to post some pictures, then the whole thread disappeared.

Was it the radiator question with the right and left hand threads?

I do not see it either.

But for the sake of my own curiosity how in the world did that radiator get put together in the first place? It looked to me like the pipe pairs would need to be tightend at exactly the same rate and I saw very little room to be swinging a pipe wrench.

You have to turn the pipes in pairs about a turn each at a time. Couldn't tell if there was enough room for a regular pipe wrench or not mey have to use on of those strap wrenches made with link chain. Can't remember the name of those wrenches.

    It's a chain wrench, Jack, a c-h-a-i-n wrench.

Just giv'n ya a bad time.

Still though, I'd imagine it would be a nightmare to take one apart to fix it.

That is something I do not have much of..... In fact here's my signature on another forum.

"No matter where I go, I can't help but thinking, I'm just a day away from where I want to be."

Taking that radiator apart and hoping, praying it did not leak once it was put back together is more than I could handle.

Then again most of my plumbing leaks after my first fix attempt.

Pipe is for putting wire in.
