Default Honey, honey do... the back door, please!!!

We have a back door that let's wind rip through our home. The wind pushes the door forward in the frame and a gap is left for air to blow right through... or snow. There is traditional weather stripping in the frame, but with the gap that is created, this does not block anything! Help!!!

Does the door rest up against anything or is it just being held by the knob? I'm a little confused by your post. Can you elaborate any?

sounds to me like your strike plate needs to be adjusted so that when the door is closed it doesn't have slack to where the door can move
