    Default Interior storm window

My house has a single pane wood casement window. I would like to install a stained-glass window on the inside ofthis window. The stained glass window is for decoration, but would essentially be functioning as an interior storm window.

Is this a good idea? Can I seal this inside window to the frame with molding/caulking? Will the interior space between the windows get dirty or collect condensation?

The problem with sealing a stained glass unit ( the type with the lead strips) is there will be a heat build up that will soften the lead and distort the stained glass window unit.

Thanks. If this is the only problem, I think I might be OK, the window is never in full sun.
