    Default Whistling kitchen faucet

When we turn on both our hot and cold water using our kitchen faucet it whistles, loud! My husband is very handy (Master Carpenter by trade) but can not figure this one out, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

What tune is it whistling ? ... sorry I couldn't resist.

Whistling is caused by the speed of water flowing through piping which is usually too small or restricted. A pressure reducing valve may help as well a general straightening out of the plumbing system. Whistling is most common at bends and tees in the pipe.

    Hope this helps.
