    Default tankless water heater

I was told not to install a tankless water heater, beacause we live in the mts and use well water. The heater could not supply enough hot water to be able to shower and use the dishwasher at the same time. Was this the right info?

It doesn't make any sense to me. A tank type heater is not going to produce more water flow than is available and a tankless water heater is going to decrease the water flow.

    Ditto to what Jack said.
I think it would also depend on the Gallons per Minute ( GPM) throughput of the tankless unit.

I just purchased a tankless heater and am on well water as well. I bought this unit from this company

They offered excellent and professional advice for my particular situation. Anyhow, you were given bad advice that you cannot use a tankless heater. Give these folks a call, they were excellent from start to finish and now we are happily enjoying endless hot water.
