    Default No venting in sinks

I just realized that my kitchen and bathroom sinks have no venting. Is this something that needs to get fixed? I really dont want to have to rip open walls, but i want to be safe and want to pass my next CO (it passed before as is).
    thanks

Default Re: No venting in sinks

I jsut did some research an uncovered air admittance valves, which would seem to work. However, I think they are not up to code in NJ. Does anyone know?
    thanks

Question Re: No venting in sinks

I would like to know the answer to this also, my house has no venting except the one main vent off the drain and a single whole house trap, only S curves under the sink. My drains all tend to be slow and gurgle.
