    Talking Gunk on saw blade

What can I use to remove the gunk that builds up on my miter saw?

Remove the blade from the saw and lay it on a scrap of plywood larger than the blade. Spray it down real good - both sides - with oven cleaner and let it sit for a bit, 10 - 15 minutes should do. Then, use a nylon bristled brush to scrub the sides and face of the teeth. then rinse well with a hose. Repeat if necessary, towel dry when finished cleaning.

Follow precautions on label of cleaner.

Simple Green and an old tooth brush works pretty well for me.

Well, sure, if you want a non-toxic, bio-degradable, non-caustic cleaner.

Personally I prefer the Boeshield products both the blade cleaner and the T-9.

Well it beats wearing a HazMat suit.
