Guess I'm old fashioned.
We bought our son a new townhouse. It came with top of the line stainless appliances. After a week the ice/cold water control failed. Calling the manufacturer's trouble line resulted in a multi question computer. When the calls went unanswered I called back and got to the point where it asked: "say which appliance you're having trouble with." Instead of "refrigerator" I said "Ice Box." I had to repeat it 3 times. Finally it connected me to a human who seemed surprised I got through. They came and replaced the defective part the next day.
