    Default Ceiling fan light fixture

We recently purchased a new ceiling fan for our dining room with a beautiful light fixture attached. The problem is that the light fixture has two fluorescent bulbs which barely put out enough light to see your plate on the table. Does anyone know of a way to convert the fixture to incandescent lighting or boost the light production of the florescent?

    Thanks in advance,
    Beth

Are these fluorescent bulbs bulbs the type that screw into a standard socket like a standard incandescent bulb? If so you can remove them and screw in regular bulbs, just make sure you check the manual on the fixture so you don't exceed wattage permitted. Otherwise it it would require removing the fluorescent part of the fixture and installing standard light fixture.Witout seeing the unit it's hard to judge how much work would be involve.
