    Default Fixing bad prepwork

Years ago. my brother and I repainted a hallway in our house that my grandmother had wallpapered. We easily removed all of the paper and I thought we got all of the glue off. Now, much of the paint is flaking off but I cannot sc**** the paint off in other areas. Any suggestions on how to redeem the walls before painting again?

unless you are in fairview michigan, you can probally go to a lowes or a home depot and rent a porter cable sander for drywall. sand those areas lightly then use a good primer and then repaint. becareful with that sander they can be aggressive, there is a speed adjustment on it so turn it down till you get the feel of it so you don't over sand
