Default zero water pressure, leaking hot water tank

hi all. i have a well for water, and 2 40 gal hot water tanks, electric. i noticed a bad leak under one of the tanks yesterday, and then after a few hours, i had no water pressure, ie, no water at all from faucets, hot or cold. clearly there is a problem with one of the tanks, but could a problem with one of the tanks affect water output for both hot and cold? i shut down the power to the well pump, and the heaters, to stop the leaking. any thoughts? thanks.

Curious .... is it possible the leak is actually the water line coming in or the pressure tank?

dont think so, the leak is coming from the bottom of the tank, near a valve that looks like a garden hose threaded valve.
