    Question door installation

    Hello,
I had my front door replaced (wooden)recently because the old door seemed to be unlevel and it was the original door. 1951. I bought a new wooden door and casing.

It took 2 carpenters 11 hours to replace this door. They insist that it is level but the door doesn't sit in the frame correctly.
There is a large gap at the top and top left and it narrows at the bottom. Can this be corrected?

It sounds like you had 2 contract installers rather than carpenters install the door. Properly installed and shimmed the crack on all sides of the door should be the same. And yes you should be able to correct this but it may require the removal and re-installation of the door and casing.
